On 4th May, a total of 15 volunteers entered events at the 2015 Belfast City Marathon to raise money for Befrienders For Disability. We had a team of five who entered the Team Relay event (the full marathon course split into five legs); two who ran the Fun Run event, and eight who completed the Eight Mile Walk! A great day was had by all, and the target for sponsorship was smashed! We were hoping to get £350, and the running (excuse the pun) total for the amount raised so far is £829!! A huge THANK YOU and well done to all who gave of their time and effort for a great cause.

BFD volunteers took to the streets of Belfast again on Saturday, 9th May for our first official street collection. The weather was kind to us, as were the people, and we are thrilled to announce that we raised a total of £699 that day!

With a smile like that, who wouldn't want to donate? :)
